Quick Add Shift

Sometimes a user will be adding or amending a shift in a place such as Day View, and find that the desired shift doesn't exist in the shift list. This function is designed to aid with the quick creation of those shift times.

Clicking the circled link will bring on screen the pop-up box shown below.

You can fill in all the information if using a specific format, or you can leave these fields blank and allow the program to create the Hours, Shift Name and Shift Codes based on its own method.

When Update is clicked, the shift is saved (if it is unique), the popup is closed and the Day View page is refreshed so that it will now show that shift in the shifts dropdown list.
